Residence Inn Anaheim Maingate is great for families and friends mainly due to its proximity to Disneyland. From the building, the famous tourist spot is within a ten-minute walk away. In addition, Anaheim Ice and Honda Center are near the hotel, which is good news for sports enthusiasts.

The fully equipped kitchens are amazing. The ovens, stoves, toasters, pots, utensils, and dishwashers look modern. The sinks are extremely clean and absorb water quickly. Moreover, you can easily prepare meals and enjoy them at the comfort of your own room.

A shuttle service is offered by the hotel for an affordable price. You can be taken to various points of interests in no time. Furthermore, the seats are very cozy and the shuttles are always on time.

The wooden furnishings have minor scratches. Most of them look old. If you are a keen observer, you can see that some paint on the walls and ceilings are starting to tear off. However, these are just minor issues that do not mess with the comfort of your stay. The hotel can do better with a refurbishment though.

Some bathrooms smell musty. The carpets smell like rotten food at times. Even some of the closets smell as if they have not been cleaned for years. However, the staff is efficient in spraying air fresheners and providing extra deodorizers upon request.

The walls are a bit thin so you can hear noise from other rooms. In addition, there were reports of some guests who talk too loud in the hallways. Thus, you are encouraged to bring earplugs and wear them before you sleep.
