Review summary

Summarized by AI from 300+ reviews

This hotel, a tranquil historic hideaway, is ideal for families, couples, and sightseers seeking an authentic Japanese experience. It boasts an excellent location, just a short walk from the train station and close to Setogura and various shopping streets. The well-equipped shared kitchen and charming cafe space cater to diverse needs, while the garden with hammocks and BBQ facilities offers a relaxing outdoor retreat. Guests consistently praise the staff's attentive and kind approach, and the cafe's delicious craft cola and homemade plum liqueur are highlights. For a quieter stay, choose a room facing the garden, as some traditional Japanese house designs can have weaker soundproofing.
