About Hokonui Bed & Breakfast

Located on a private and peaceful rural lifestyle property just a 5 minute drive from Gore. Hokonui has some farm animals on its 12 acres and the garden is planted with NZ Natives. Guests enjoy stunning panoramic views over surrounding farmland and mountains from all rooms. There is a games room with a full size snooker table a large shared lounge and outdoor seating areas. Hokonui B & B is an ideal location for Brown Trout Fishing in the famous Mataura River and some smaller rivers close by. Bush Walking and Hiking in the Hokonui Hills and Dolamore Park nearby is a great place for a relaxing country escape. The Gore Golf Course, Multi Sports Complex, Movie Theatre, Art Gallery, Restaurants & Shops within 5 minutes. Croydon Aviation Airfield where you can take a Tiger Moth flight and Dolamore Park with some great bush walks just 10 minutes drive. Rooms have free wifi, tea & coffee making facilities and breakfast is included in the room rates. Large free parking area is available on site. Gore is a 2 hour drive to Dunedin and Queenstown 90 minutes to Te Anau and 60 minutes to Invercargill and the Catlins Coast so therefore Gore is in a very central location for exploring the South of New Zealand.
