Hotel Excelsior Splendide (Bellagio, Italy)

The hotel is bursting full of charm and character. From the atmosphere to the tasteful décor and helpful staff members, Excelsior Splendide goes above and beyond to keep the atmosphere peaceful and charming.

While the breakfast is served buffet-style, dinner is a little different. The first course is buffet. Yet, after this you have three courses that are served to you from the staff members.

The hotel is located in an amazing spot, as it’s right on the main strip that faces Lake Como. Some rooms come with a balcony and a view of the stunning lake, while others have views of the area around it.

The guesthouse doesn’t offer any kind of parking, so you will have to look elsewhere for this. While there is metered parking across the street, it can get expensive.

The dining room is small, so it appears even smaller during the peak hours. It gets crowded and stuffy, a thing that may make you want to eat out elsewhere.

Although the hotel has an elevator, it’s small and slow. Two people can fit in at a time, so you might have to wait to go up. And, because of how slow it is, it may take a while.
