About Hotel Laxnes

The Hotel Laxnes is a country-style 3-star hotel within a 10 minute drive from the centre of Reykjavik city, located close to the countryside overlooking the Mountain Esja. Our hotel has 26 rooms rooms all with a mountain view, free wi fi and a private bathroom with bathtub. At Hotel Laxnes we offer you the best of both worlds; we are close to a fishing lake, horse-riding farm, Alafoss Wool store, hiking trails and in a Northern-lights hot spot. We have an outdoor hot tub with mountain view,a cozy bar/lounge with sports Sky TV and free parking. We have an Icelandic Bistro Alafoss nearby overlooking a waterfall. Guests should be advised in case of late arrival after midnight local time, expected arrival time should be communicated in advance in order for the hotel to arrange late check in instructions.
