Hotel Michelangelo (Milan, Italy)

This hotel offers a comfortable and convenient location near the Milano Centrale station. It's especially ideal for repeat visitors who seek to explore other towns in Italy, but of course also offers excellent public transportation connexions all over the city, and fast connexions to all of the local airports. Guests say it's an easy, 30-minute walk to the centre of the city, as well as major highlights like the Duomo, Teattro alla Scala, and the Galleria. You'll also be within walking distance to several shopping streets, and many excellent dining opportunities.

Don't miss out on the wonderful breakfast, served every morning at the hotel. Guests found the selection quite varied and interesting, and appreciated the availability of fresh fruit. In addition, guests also recommend dining at the onsite restaurant, which does not disappoint.

The rooms are described as spacious and clean. Guests appreciated that all accommodations were nicely equipped with all the modern necessities, including fast and free Wi-Fi. The complimentary minibar was also a surprise and delight for many, and the rooms with Jacuzzi tubs were a highlight. Because this is one of the tallest buildings in the area, the hotel is also known for its wonderful views so make sure to ask for a high-floor room.

The hotel is a bit old, and guests agree that renovations are necessary all over. The carpets and curtains especially look worn and aged with time, and are due for a replacement.

Many guests found it inconvenient that there were no coffee or tea making facilities in the room, and no ironing facilities.

The air conditioner is not the best quality. Guests warn that on the hottest days, the rooms feel extremely stuffy.
