The hotel is in a fantastic location, for checking out the area on foot. You're close to local markets, sites of interest, and just the amazing beauty of the region. This is a perfect base for being near the water and city attractions.

The rooms meet expectations for being comfortable, cozy, spacious, and clean. Pricing is fair, and the views are lovely to see and take photos of. They're a nice complement to the rest of the hotel, luxury amenities, and environment it's set in.

Rydges Wellington staff exhibit the warm and courteous personality that all hotel employees should have. They attend to every detail, and are immediately available for requests, concerns, or questions. You can easily talk to them and have whatever you need or want attended to promptly.

Paying extra for breakfast and parking is frustrating, since the hotel's cost is already in a considerable range. The morning meal should be included in pricing, and that the parking fees should be lowered if they cannot be eliminated. Parking being offsite also doesn't sit well with every guest.

The furnishings and fixtures should be a bit brighter and and newer for this establishment. The evident signs of use offset the rich feel of the place, and lower the value and appreciation for this accommodation.

Have ear plugs handy, as outside noise comes through the thin walls. The air conditioning is also louder than desired, so you may still have trouble relaxing, if you need it to cool off the room.
