Review summary
Summarized by AI from 80+ reviews
This hotel is a tranquil retreat ideal for couples and families seeking a peaceful escape. Its central yet serene location offers convenient access to popular attractions like Monkey World and Lulworth Cove, with a bus stop directly outside reception for easy transport. The highlight of the accommodations are the spacious and comfortable lodges, many of which include a relaxing hot tub and practical amenities like washing machines. Guests consistently praise the professional and helpful staff, and the convenience of a visiting mobile fish and chip van and a nearby pub offering good, reasonably priced food. For a truly serene experience, consider requesting a lodge away from the main road to fully embrace the "forest retreat" ambiance.
