Review summary
Summarized by AI from 300+ reviews
This hotel is a versatile urban hub, ideal for families, couples, and sightseers seeking a self-catering experience. It boasts an excellent central location directly behind the German border in Kreuzlingen, offering immediate access to the train station and a short walk to Konstanz's old town and Lake Constance. The spacious apartments, complete with well-equipped kitchenettes and in-room washing machines and dryers, cater perfectly to extended stays. While the self-service approach to staff and service is unconventional, guests consistently praise the friendliness and helpfulness of individuals when contact is made, and the proximity to local cafes and bakeries provides convenient dining alternatives. For a quieter experience, guests should consider requesting a room facing the garden.
