Review summary

Summarized by AI from 400+ reviews

A quiet, rustic retreat for travelers exploring Cape Cod.

This property serves as a peaceful base for sightseers seeking a simple, nature-oriented stay. The central location in historic Sandwich pairs with a scenic duck pond that anchors the tranquil grounds. Guests often enjoy the recently renovated rooms for their modern comfort, though those seeking a premium experience should request an updated unit to avoid older, unrefreshed spaces. The property maintains a calm atmosphere, though the absence of breakfast and lack of on-site refreshments remain a notable drawback for those prioritizing convenience.

Some guests mentioned: on-site parking, musty odors, inconsistent service.
