A comfortable base

The accommodation units are felt, by guests, to be clean, compact and comfortable. They are a good base in which to relax after a day spent exploring the surrounding area.

Close to all the action

Guests agree that there is plenty to enjoy locally. They particularly like the approximate three-kilometre trip to Waitangi Treaty Grounds, and everyone gets a thrill out of the dune riding trips which leave from less than one kilometre from the motel. Guests also say that it is a waste of breath telling the kids that they can’t go to Action World. In fact, it has fun for all the family and it is only a couple of kilometres away.

A great location for easy riders

The motel’s location is convenient and guests like the easy access to the beach, shops, restaurants and activities. There’s plenty of space here too, so guests are happy to take their car on local trips and return here to their own dedicated parking space. Now that, they say, really is impressive.

Negative Reviews

Unreliable Wi-Fi

Guests say that the Wi-Fi signal is very unreliable and, quite often, cannot be accessed in the room. It is, they understand, a current fault in the area generally. They still find this situation to be tiresome though.

Missing the air-con

Guests appreciate that they cannot expect everything; not at these prices. They do, however, miss having air conditioning. The supplied fan does its best to cope with the heat, but it is an uphill struggle, overheated guests say.
