Review summary

A convenient, well-located base for university visitors and travelers.

This hotel serves as a practical hub for families and sightseers seeking a central home base. Its prime location near James Madison University pairs with a well-equipped fitness center to support both academic visits and active routines. The attentive front desk clerks consistently earn praise for their dedication, and guests attending local events should take advantage of the game day shuttles for stress-free transit. While the property offers a functional stay, the dated furniture and worn finishes in some rooms may not meet every traveler's expectations for modern comfort.

Some guests mentioned: elevator outages, firm mattresses, pool closures.
