Review summary
Summarized by AI from 200+ reviews
The hotel is widely celebrated as an exceptional wedding venue, with its stunning ceremony room and beautifully decorated interiors creating a memorable backdrop for special occasions. Guests consistently highlight the hotel's inviting atmosphere and the attentive service provided by its staff. It is an ideal choice for couples seeking a romantic getaway, families attending events, and business travelers looking for a comfortable and well-located base. The picturesque setting by the River Tees also makes it appealing for sightseers and pet owners who enjoy scenic walks. To ensure a comfortable stay, guests are advised to request a room away from the main function areas or the road to minimize noise, as some rooms can be affected by sound. Additionally, it is prudent to confirm room readiness if arriving early, as check-in times can sometimes be rigid.
